April 15, 2024 - WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Coming off a dominant performance in his last outing, Sacramento River Cats starting pitcher and No. 7 prospect Mason Black was named the Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 8-14 on Monday. April 14, 2024 - WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - First pitch had to wait nearly an hour after a rainy day forced a delayed start to game five, but the Sacramento River Cats stayed ready to play as they scored seven unanswered runs from the third through the eighth as they clinched an 8-2 victory over the El Paso Chihuahuas.
