ORLANDO - July 29, 2015 - The Orlando Predators announced today that rookie offensive lineman Erle Ladson has signed a contract with the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League. Ladson will be placed on the Arena Football League's Other League Exempt list and the Predators will retain his AFL rights.

"It's bittersweet anytime you lose a player at this juncture in the season because Erle was an integral part of our offensive line," said General Manager of Football Operations Michael DiJulio. "However as an organization, we strive to recruit high-caliber players and give them the exposure that will lead to opportunities at the NFL level.

"Erle is a hard worker who consistently put great effort into perfecting his craft. We are extremely proud to see him earn this opportunity and wish him the best as he continues to pursue a career in the NFL."

Ladson (6-6, 345, Delaware) played in 12 games along the offensive line for the Predators this season. He played collegiately at the University of Delaware, where he started the final 23 contests of his career at left tackle. Prior to joining the Predators, Ladson began his professional football career as an undrafted free agent with the Oakland Raiders in 2014.
