(Toledo, OH) Troy Schwab scored 1:35 into overtime to lead the Walleye to a 2-1 win Saturday night at the Huntington Center. The win evens the best of seven series at a game apiece. Game three is Wednesday at Wheeling.

Wheeling took advantage of an early power play to take a 1-0 at 6:02 of the first period. Through two periods, the Walleye held a 24-14 shot advantage but the Nailers led the game 1-0.

In the third period, Cody Lampl beat Wheeling goaltender Franky Palazzese at 7:26 for his second goal of the playoffs. Tyler Barnes and Shane Berschbach collected the assists. In the overtime, Shane Berschbach went around the Wheeling net and fed a pass right into the crease that was buried by Troy Schwab at 1:35.

Walleye Notes: Goaltender Jeff Lerg picked up the win by making 28 saves on the 29 shots on goal. Tonight's crowd of 5,767 breaks the Toledo ECHL single playoff game record of 5,374 set on April 2, 1994 vs. Columbus.
