Quotes
"You just have to stand tall. It was a hard fought game by the boys. The defense battled and kept pucks away from me and gave me lanes to see. I got a couple save at the end there and we got the two points." - Shane Owen on the final scramble in front of his net
"It always is huge to get a win like this. We get to go back home for seven so the momentum is there, we just have to carry it over." - Shane Owen on getting a win in the final game of the five-game road trip
"I thought the guys came out with high excitement and energy. You can't think about the past games, you have to think about the game ahead of you and take it five minutes at a time. We scored in the first shift and I thought we fed off of that. We had a few lapses we have to work on, I mean, we're not going to be perfect, but we got the win and the boys played well." - Coach Hunt on the effort to begin the game
"Any goal in the first five minutes of the game is a huge momentum builder, and our game is about momentum and change. To start with that goal was huge and I thought we built off of that." - Coach Hunt on getting a goal 30 seconds into the game
"Great play by Shattock and Henry to go back and forth. I think that was another great momentum changer, short-handed goals, power-play goals, special teams is huge. That helped continue our momentum early on." - Coach Hunt on short-handed goal
"We were even keeled. We weren't too high when we scored, we didn't get too low when we were scored on. I thought after they scored we still responded." - Coach Hunt on the response after Bakersfield scored
